From a small enthusiastic group of members of the Wanneroo Senior Citizens Club in 1983, led by Louise Sculley, The City Entertainers grew into a well known and respected cast of performers, attracting audiences from and performing in, metropolitan and country areas. Recognition was received on Australia Day 1996 when they won the City of Wanneroo Community Group Award for their contribution to the Australia Remembers Celebrations 1945-1995.
